Clients often ask us if promoting classes and events via CRM works. The answer is a resounding, “Yes!” Be sure to include the promotion of any 2017 classes, seminars or events via CRM into your marketing strategy.
The classes and events we see our clients promote most frequently are Orthopedic hip, knee and joint seminars. However, we also have clients promoting Cardiovascular classes, Mammography screening events and Bariatric seminars, just to name a few. Through CRM, your organization can create automated trigger campaigns to promote your classes each month, and drive traffic to a website to learn dates, times, topics and even to register.
To most wisely use your dollars, start by transitioning from the traditional method of marketing events and begin to strategically target the ideal individuals to attend the class at the right time using the Tea Leaves Health Patientology™ application and our various Screening Tea Selects.
Once the campaigns are implemented, we can measure success two ways. We encourage you to send Touch Point files of those who registered for the class (if available) AND take down names, emails and physical addresses for those who actually attend the event. This way we can track downstream engagement for these individuals. We will also measure the success of the actual direct mail campaign by measuring encounters of the individuals who were on the original list. In both instances, we can apply custom Success Criteria for reporting. So, for example, if you’re hosting an Ortho seminar, we can measure if the attendees/targets came in and saw a specific doctor, and/or were given an Ortho diagnoses, or had a procedure done. Typically, you can expect to see a 1-2% response rate for classes. We will always tailor the campaign to match your budget, however, that that is the typical recommendation for filling seats.
