At Tea Leaves Health, we focus on strategically helping our clients, and we love learning more about the people we serve. We frequently feature clients here in our Client Spotlight, so you can learn more about current CRM initiatives happening across the country. This month we’re featuring Zachary Walsh, Marketing Manager for Beaumont Health.
Tell us your title, what organization you work for, a quick description of your role and a little bit about yourself.
Zak Walsh, Marketing Manager, Beaumont Health. I’ve been part of the marketing team here for more than five years. I’m the primary liaison to Tea Leaves Health for our Patientology efforts and have responsibility for supporting growth initiatives for a number of Beaumont services lines, including orthopedics, children’s and emergency care.
What is your department’s biggest challenge, and what are you doing to overcome that?
One of our greatest challenges historically has been gaining line of sight on our encounter data and its connection to specific marketing tactics. We are now using the Patientology tool to effectively target and measure direct mail and email campaigns, as well as various other interconnected tactics.
What are some of the main initiatives your organization is working on now?
We recently launched a new movers campaign that is showing early promise, and we’ve laid the groundwork to measure the effectiveness of various tactics for a major multiplatform orthopedics campaign. That measurement capability will allow us to achieve the continuous optimization we’re looking for.
In what ways do you feel your organization has benefited from the Patientology solution?
It’s given us the ability to see the direct impact of different promotional efforts, which is instrumental to our campaign and resource allocation planning. We’re looking forward to further exploring the platform’s automation capabilities as we move into 2018.
